About the Founder

Anthony Sarno

Founder & CEO · ValueLogics.ai LLC

Anthony Sarno is the founder of ValueLogics.ai and the creator of the Value Semantic Data Contract — an enterprise methodology for generating, measuring, and proving business value from software and AI systems.

For more than 25 years, Anthony has helped Fortune-scale organizations modernize enterprise applications, align technology investments with business outcomes, and improve software ROI through value-driven engineering.

Long before the current AI wave, Anthony was working at the intersection of enterprise metadata, software architecture, ROI, and business value. Early in his career, he created MetaMapper — an enterprise metadata management platform recognized by Upside and Fortune as a Best New Data Warehouse Metadata Tool. That work established the foundation for his long-standing focus on metadata-driven architecture, model-driven engineering, and business system generation.

Since 1999, Anthony has helped enterprises model technology value across data warehouse ROI, TCO, global information systems, metadata strategy, product upside, and Fortune-scale business impact. His professional speaking history includes DCI Data Warehouse World, Rockwell Automation's Annual User Conference, and a Gartner co-produced executive event.

Today, Anthony is applying that same value-first discipline to AI.

The Journey

Metadata pioneer → ROI authority
→ AI accountability

The same through-line — 25 years running.

Early Career

MetaMapper — Best New Data Warehouse Metadata Tool

Created MetaMapper, an enterprise metadata management platform recognized by Upside and Fortune. Established the foundation for metadata-driven architecture and model-driven engineering that still underpins ValueLogics today.

1999 – 2005

Enterprise ROI and TCO methodology

Helped Fortune-scale organizations model technology value across data warehouse ROI, TCO, global information systems, and metadata strategy. Speaking engagements at DCI Data Warehouse World, Rockwell Automation's Annual User Conference, and a Gartner co-produced executive event.

2005

Intel Xeon TCO White Paper — the compute density moment

Authored the Intel Xeon TCO white paper on server virtualization architecture. The same year VMware introduced compute density — decoupling software from hardware, slashing data center footprint 50–80%. Twenty years later, ValueLogics applies the same architectural pattern to business logic.

2005 – 2022

GoldPoint / WebROI — 22 years of enterprise proof

Built and deployed the GoldPoint/WebROI ROI methodology across enterprise clients including Metrix Inc. (>1,000% ROI, 36-month deployment), EXTOL International (66% supply chain improvement), and MSG Networks (87% IRR). The prior art was cited 57 times by Fortune 500 companies.

2022 – Present

ValueLogics.ai — AI accountability at enterprise scale

Founded ValueLogics.ai to apply value-first discipline to AI. Created the Value Semantic Data Contract (VDSC), the AAEI open standard (proposed to OMG August 2026), and the Logic Density Ratio — a measurable standard for how much implementation was eliminated. Currently leading enterprise refactoring, AI agent governance, ESG proof, and cybersecure business value for Fortune-scale organizations.

The Core Thesis

Software engineering has always started
with the wrong input.

For decades, organizations have given systems technical specifications that describe how software should work.

ValueLogics starts with what the system must prove.

While the market races to generate more code, more agents, and more content, ValueLogics starts somewhere different: with business intent.

The platform captures the problem, baseline, desired outcome, Goal Measure, business impact, and proof model before generating applications, AI agents, APIs, dashboards, measurement systems, and ROI proof artifacts.

The result is a new category of enterprise software — applications generated from business value metadata, continuously measured against business outcomes, and designed to prove ROI from day one.

Don't just generate code.

Compile value.

The work speaks for itself.

🏆

Best New Data Warehouse Metadata Tool

MetaMapper recognized by Upside and Fortune magazine. Early proof that metadata-driven architecture could transform enterprise software.

Why ValueLogics Exists

Built on a simple belief.

Software does not fail because teams cannot generate enough code. It fails because nobody defined what success had to prove.

ValueLogics was built to solve that — giving every software investment a value contract before a single line of code is written, and a proof record that survives every renewal conversation.

Anthony's current work focuses on AI accountability — ROI Proof, Cyber Proof, ESG Proof — and the standardization of value-driven software generation through VDSC and related enterprise interoperability specifications submitted to OMG.

What we generate — before we build

  • The business problem — precisely defined
  • The baseline measure — before the solution
  • The desired outcome — in measurable terms
  • The Goal Measure — what "working" means
  • The business impact — in dollars and risk
  • The proof model — AAEI evidence record
  • The ROI proof — board-ready at every renewal
